Founded and named in 1837, all 22 blocks of Weston are on the National Register of Historic Places. Charming and just darn pretty, the town thrives with one-of-a-kind shops, boutique wineries, historic homes, Lewis & Clark history, distilleries and awesome views of the Missouri River just below Main Street.
In its early days, Weston was the largest grower of tobacco and hemp in the country. Ben Holliday and fellow southerners traveled from Kentucky brought tobacco to the region.
Holiday was drawn to the area for the quality of the local water and built his spirits empire here.
