Trolley Wine Tours
Our 2019 Wine Tour season is here!
Our very popular wine tours will continue being held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, starting April 27 and running through December 14 (with some exceptions). These tours are selling VERY FAST, so please do not wait to get your tickets! Update as of 5-7-19, the May 11, June 8, July 13 and August 10 wine tours are completely SOLD OUT. Almost 50% of the tickets we have available for the entire year are already purchased.
Join us for an all-inclusive wine tour experience aboard the Excelsior Springs Chamber Trolley! Your adventure begins at Willow Spring Mercantile with a gourmet brunch in the wine cellar bistro paired with Missouri-made wines. Then we’ll hop aboard the trolley and head out to three additional stops: Fence Stile Vineyards & Winery, Van Till Family Farm Winery, and Four Horses & a Dog Winery before we conclude back in downtown Excelsior Springs. Each winery stop includes a full tasting experience. Plus, you’ll receive a souvenir 6-bottle wine bag to fill up with your favorite wines!
Tickets will be all-inclusive and will cover brunch, a full tasting experiences at four venues, transportation aboard the trolley, and the souvenir bag and will cost $99 per person. Each tour can accommodate up to 28 guests, while the minimum for the tour to run will be 15 guests. Private parties of 15 or more are welcome to book the wine tour any time the trolley and venues are available.
IMPORTANT TIP FOR GROUPS!!! When booking a large group for any of our tours, it’s best to register all guests at one time to guarantee everyone’s seat on that tour. We’ve had several parties that have tried to book individually, only to have someone in their group forget or not get registered before the tour sold out. Don’t be left out of the fun! You can always call the Chamber at 816-630-7500 (Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm) to see how many seats are available on any given tour. We cannot hold those seats without payment!
Tours are very popular and often sell out months in advance. In order for the venues to be adequately prepared, we can accept reservations up to 2 days before the tour. If you’d like to purchase tickets within 48 hours of the tour, please contact the Chamber to make sure that we can accommodate.
The Chamber reserves the right to cancel if there are less than 15 reservations, in which case, you can be moved to another tour date or your ticket purchase will be refunded. We also have a 48 hour cancellation policy, which states that no refunds are given within 48 hours of the tour.
